In the past two years I have traveled all around the world-- from the jungle of Guatemala to the desert of North Africa. I have bartered surf lessons in exchange for photographs of a surfer in Nicaragua, slept in a hammock under the stars in a national park in Colombia, and changed my flight an hour before departure to hop on an overnight train to Belgrade with a friend.
For most people traveling the world is their biggest dream, yet most people don't understand the hardships that come with it. Being a female solo traveler makes the journey even tougher. I'm here to spread the joys-- and woes of being an independent traveler.
